Another country established from old Yugoslavia, as a result of the war. Visit Mostar, a Turkish settlement; 45% Moslem...a picturesque little village internationally known for its stone bridge, a monument built by the Turks in 16th century during the Ottoman empire. It was damaged in war and restored in 2004 by UNESCO..considered a Turkish masterpiece. Visit the mosque, Turkish house, and old bazaar area. Mostar is also the economical, political and cultural center of Herzegovina.
